Casual Joes Ad Campaign

Copywriting

  • Utilized photography skills to produce TV storyboard.

  • Employed audio production skills using EQ, compression, and hard limiters to manipulate the frequencies of my voice to produce a quality radio ad.

  • Excelled proficiency in copywriting skills.

  • Communicated with client effectively to incorporate unique selling propositions in ads.

  • Advanced communication skills by learning to accept and apply criticism to produce quality work.

  • Improved time management skills.

  • Applied advertising techniques to attract target audience.

Process

  1. I first met with my client to establish needs for the campaign, as well as decide which unique selling propositions to incorporate in ads.

Needs for campaign

Incorporate USP’s:

 - Fully wood smoked southern style BBQ

 - All homemade from scratch

  • Draw more customers into the business

  • Promote catering

  • Add southern slang in ad to promote authenticity

2. I produced rough drafts of both ads to review and critique with my client in order to make sure I was on the right path of reflecting the needs of the campaign. My clients advice was to integrate southern slang in the ads to not only add more authenticity and mirror the brands image, but accentuate the unique selling propositions as well.

3. I accepted the criticism from my client and edited my ads by adding southern slang which helped to improve the overall campaign significantly.

4. I attended a final meeting with my client for final evaluation.

5. Lastly, I wrote an executive summary to conclude the project.
